All of this time on stage with each other has given the band the opportunity to explore the wide variety of influences that has impacted them to be the players they are today. Guitarist/vocalist Rob Compa giddily tells, “We really felt that the material this time around represented a big leap forward, not just in the way we’ve been interacting as a band, but in the way our focus has become sharper in paying attention to things like melody, theme, lyrical imagery, and structure - all the elements that make a great song.” Determined to have that maturity translate in the studio, the band enlisted friend and producer Jason “Jocko” Randall to both engineer and produce the record. Keys/vocalist Eli Winderman couldn’t be happier about how things went. “We lived at his studio for about a month for these sessions and it just clicked right away. Jocko immediately became another member of band in many ways. Second time they've played with us. Great dancing time. Followed by Jackets. Jackets are great singers and rockers. Originals, Dylan and Allman Bros seems to be their mainstay. Great slide guitar and and dual guitar leads. You won't regret seeing these guys. Great show, Both Toadhouse and Rose Garland put OUT! . So nice to see Rose Garland get out again. A little bummed that more people didn't get out early enough to check out Toadhouse. They have a great sound. Nice vocals. Very fresh and tasty stuff... But that's how it goes in Toronto, most folks come out for 11pm. We are working on it. Expect to see more of both bands at The Cage and Toadhouse (and sister band Flat 5) are always out and about in Ontario. Keep an eye out for them. Nice to run in to C towns and other sanctuary denizens in this Facebook age. Thanks all for being here!

Phish to David Crosby.... "David, having two guys playing the same part in drop D tuning, just to back up Stephen's parts... isn't a real band. Even if one of them is using a 12 string. However, it does give you something to do in the band. Please thank Mr. Stills for the idea!
