I know I've posted this before, but, I did a search (several, actually) and couldn't find my previous queries in this regard...

To whom did I loan my "Slash" autobiography? It was someone here...I think I know who it was, but I must have deleted the old PMs.

And I know I had dropped it with one person at a gig and they were delivering it to the person in question.

This was Jan '08.

I really want that book back. I want to read it again. And I have other friends who'd like to borrow it, too.

I'm hoping bookarma will bring it back.

Sorry to keep posting the same thing. I am just really hoping for a response this time.

When the now-famous picture of Olympic Champion Michael Phelps taking a Roor was published on News Of The World, a number of sites took the opportunity to link the swimmer to Phish. It turns out there’s more of a connection than anyone realized.

Dan Levy at On The DL researched how the photo ended up on News Of The World and his sleuthing uncovered a series of posts on the popular Phish message board Phantasy Tour describing the offending photo before it was published on January 31.

A PTer with the handle wswilli3 posted this entry in a thread about smoking with celebrities on January 9:

"My buddies took bomb rips with michael phelps last fall in Columbia, sc. One of them took a picture on his iPhone. His brother is a small time actor in LA, whose publicist said the pic was worth seven figures. Didn’t sell it bc of karma and didn’t want to be a rat. The kid will inherit WAY more than that so he doesn’t need it. If it was me, consider it sold."

Phish fans have long battled a reputation for being lazy stoners whose parents pay for everything and this story plays right into both of those stereotypes.

Can’t PTers turn their attention towards taking down someone who truly sucks instead of an incredible athlete who likes to take a bong rip? I’m thinking Ann Coulter. One of the columnist’s old Deadhead friends must have an incriminating picture of her fucking a horse or something.

It wasn't the sign that initially caught our eye, stopped at a light for a very long time in a very sketchy section of Cleveland (thanks, GPS!)...the window of the establishment had all the windows blocked with signs advertising their wares, including:

-Bibles $6.95 and up

-Crucifixes Sm/Med/Lg

-Rat Bait/Traps

We were like, "Huh?"

Then we noticed the unique specialties of the T & L on their sign.

Basher and I discussed this and we figured his douchery would result in an anthithetic response, in terms of what BBT thought of Canadian audiences, i.e. that we aren't responsive.

And it did!

Ann Coulter is soo much more than a "douche"...she's insidiously evil..there's got to be separate category for that...

I tried listening to Stern when it was on the radio on Q107 when I first moved to Toronto...it was repetitive & boring & stupid.

That being said, I thought his movie "Private Parts" was very entertaining.

Jian Ghomeshi (sp?) accidentally introduced him as an actor/musician when he had been specifically instructed NOT to mention Billy Bob's Hollywood history...as a result, BBT just acted like a dick, wouldn't answer/respond to questions, refused to play with his band (they had to perform on the air without him).

I hate that guy, but he's a good actor.
