My favourite show...
-
It's hard to finger point at anyone specifically, but Chelsea fucking whined their way into manipulating the ref and as result got more of the calls. Spurs acted petulantly in response.
But yeah, I still hate Fabregas - gooner red, chelsea blue, whatever the fuck colour he is, he's a greasy fucking git.

Sweet Fancy Moses!
I'm checking them out, I've got it figured out.

I don't like bacon that's been sullied with syrup or honey, I don't like glazed ham. I don't like sugar where my savoury is supposed to be. A little bit of sweet for balance is ok, but when it's predominant, it's for the birds.

Shit got ugly. Pretty sad really.

Well, cheaper than I thought. Still a lot of cash, but a great way to catch a good chunk of the dying breed in one go.

I'm almost Mark T'd out. Seen him 3-4 times this year already... so so good though.

Cool! Added...

Really? Cheaper than LOCKN'? I suppose it's possible, but I feel like the target demographic for this will be milked pretty aggresively. I hope I'm wrong (assuming the event even happens).
My thoughts exactly. Given the amount of money that people ( of a certain age bracket) have and are willing to spend and that a face value ticket for any one of these bands individually can reach $250-300 for a primo seat, I'm calling much higher.

I bet tickets are 500 bucks face.

Ahhh dammit - sorry to hear that, my man I hope you can find comfort in the memories in the weeks to come.

New Speedway Boogie by Courtney Barnett is my current fave.
-
I dunno, I saw them on the last tour ( same ACL was on) and he's definitely still got it. Well, he did three and half years ago at least...

Ahhh yes! I've not used any of her books before but I know moe.ron and gentlemonkey have cooked their way thru her works back to front.

I'm a cookbook fiend. It's been my bedtime reading for the last several years and I don't plan on slowing, but I wondered which were your faves...
My current faves (which aren't necessarily brand new):
Jerusalem - Yotem Ottalenghi
Momofuku - David Chang
The Cooks Illustrated Cookbook ( based on the magazine, which, IMO, is the best publication around)
Edit to add: Ivan Ramen - Ivan Orkin
-
^^ Nice - I saw these the other day and wondered...
-
Save My Life with Boz Scaggs guesting on guitar from this show is the fucking dopest stone cold groove ever. I can never get enough.
-
Sad to say, but you could not pay me to go and see Dylan again... He's so far past useful, it's painful.
-
Vulfpeck.
Tops.
-
Personally, I would have been pissed with the quality of shows they played in relation to relative cost/value...but I'm sure it was a blast regardless if Phish decided to pull out their C+ game.

It's called The Bell Jar. If you watch the whole thing, you can see Meggo and I standing in the doorway for the whole thing. I'm in the green Antelope hoodie.
