rabidmonkey
Does anyone know where I can get a rotating christmas tree stand for a decent price? It has to be able to hold up a 'real' tree not some crappy fake one. I've been looking everywhere online and they cost almost $100. I have a vague memory of seeing one advertised for about $30 but I can't seem to remember where.

rabidmonkey
That was my original idea, but how do we get the lights to not tangle when it's spinning? prep. H - we need you to solve some problems for us.
rubberdinghy
Use candles!!! Then it will be even cooler when the entire Christmas tree goes up and you have a spinning inferno!!!
h
they dont' make them for real trees monkey2, sorry. but if you really need me to help, i guess my suggestion would be to have you shove you tree up your ass and break dance on your head instead. merry christmas i do have a line on my grandmother's old silver tree though from the 70s that has a rotating colour wheel that makes the tree different colours as it turns -- i think my cousin has it, and i'm going to call him to see if he uses it at all...
