Guest Low Roller
So I listened to Ace for the first time yesterday. I enjoyed Playing in The Band, and looped Cassidy several times, but the rest was pretty lackluster. One More Saturday Night, I thought, sounded very sub-par. Anybody have opinions on this disk? I KNOW Dr.Hux will give his two cents over here...
Hux
but of course..... "Ace" - has it's moments, but as with all studio Dead, generally there's a feeling that somethings missing...they do manage to capture a pretty decent little jam section in "Playin"... My fav on that disk is "Walk in the Sunshine" never played live, and a pretty fun little ditty to listen to in the AM! ...gotta deep six your wrist watch!
