I would say that most of those listed in the BC section are either not what most of us would consider 'jambands' or they no longer exist as a band.

Here's a more accurate Canjam list for BC::

Slammin Jack - www.slamminjack.com (Phish/MMW influenced)

Themasses - www.themasses.ca (progressive funktronica)

Beluga - (ween-like rock) www.belugamusic.com

Brickhouse (no website) (more of a soul/blues band)

Doppler Defect (no website) (experimental D&B/ambience)

Dubfreque - www.dubfreque.net (reggae/ska/soul)

Freeflow - www.freeflow.ca (soul/hip hop)

Funkshun (no website) (trad. jazz/funk)

Fuse (no website) (jazz fusion)

Grames Bros. - www.gramesbrothers.com (good times jamband)

Inject - www.inject.org (live electronica/techno)

Kaejema - www.kaejema.com (funk dub jazz)

Samsara (hippy African rhythm stuff)

Slow Nerve Action (or the side project, Duran Duran Duran) (hilarious songwriting, on stage shenanigans)

She Stole My Beer (Grateful Dead - ish)

Stephen Franke www.stephenfranke.com (jazz/jam)

Threat From Outer Space (hip hop and fusion)

Transit (experimental jam)

Wassabi Collective (based in Nelson now) (hippy African rhythm stuff)
