For those who can't make it out to the Black Sheep on FRI... hear is another chance to dance: ...Toronto's World-Funk Dance Machine is playing at a place called Groovy's Roti Hut (272 McArthur) Sat night... show time is 10:30pmish. If there is a cover it won't be very big (maybe $5). Please come and support a not-so-well know venue in the nations capital. Might make for a good Jazz Fest after-party. bradm Posted June 25, 2004 Report Share Posted June 25, 2004 I checked and found a Canada 411 entry for Groovy's, and it's actually 292 McArthur, not 272.It's in Vanier, on McArthur just East of the Vanier Parkway.For those OC Transpo'ing it from West of Vanier, it seems best to take the #14 from the Rideau Centre, say.This may make an interesting double-header: The John Henrys at Zaphod's, then along to Groovy's for Mr. Something Something...Aloha,Brad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
