Posted July 2, 2004 Report Share Posted July 2, 2004 I have seen this incredible band about 3 times, moe.down summercamp late night bonnaroo late night and until bonnaroo late night, i didn't really think much of them. At bonnaroo, they totally blew me away. They are growing at an incredible rate right now, and if some one could get them to play a venue like the HorseShoe Tavern, it would be a real treat. Think Robert Randolph playing the Horse shoe a few years ago....i will never be able to see him play a venue like that again...the same will happen to umphrey's.....so lets get them to play a nice smaller venue for us before they explode. Esau Posted July 2, 2004 Report Share Posted July 2, 2004 Umphrey's is pretty good music,definately sounding better then they did in '98-'99.Still haven't "hooked" me yet,although I haven't seen them live yet since I can't cross the border.So,yeah I'd like to see them up here,see if the live shows are better then the recorded ones.
