paisley
welcome back buddy every room's a different room, different mics record differently... if you aren't working with 2 inch tape or something: fire everything up, record it for a half minuter, rewind and see how it sounds... move the mics if needed just like pink floyd! 1979
Since I 'm using 2 mics - - Where would the ideal place to put them so one pics up the highs - and the other - low end? One perhaps for drums?? maybe around bass drum and other one near keys and guitar amp??
SaggyBalls
if it's just 2 mics then i'd place them in the far upper right and left across from the band setup...you'll likely wind up playing around with amp placement depending on who needs to hear what...so you'll want to be able to move the mics around.
