Anyone who says Phish was worse than TAB needs to give their head a serious shake... Phish was Trey, agreed, but Mike, Page and Fish were a hell of a lot better players than anyone who's supported Trey in TAB... Better songs with Phish too... The songwriting in TAB was very vamp based, pure danceable fun...nothing as sophisticated as PHISH, or as conversational as PHISH. Here's where I disagree, I think that Trey's new group is going to blow that out of the water. P.S. It's FISHMAN who is playing drums on Trey's new album...
