I tried to sneak in to the Sam Roberts show on Olympic Island last year by way of sailboat… the rocky shore and 20 knot winds prevented a stealth approach and I was forced to retreat. I’ve been thinking about making this year’s approach in a more maneuverable canoe… any high-seas adventurers out there care to join me on the mission? Emily Haynes alone is worth risking a dip in the Toronto Harbour!!!

I canoed to the island once before. Might be up for it again. We snuck into the redpath sugar factory's docking area, and i think we ended up on the east-ish side of centre island. Those ferrys look HUGE from a little canoe...

so... do you have a canoe marge?

I've got access to one... it's parked on Centre Island. I might have to go on a reconnaissance mission to scope the shoreline and see if we can pull up through some trees or something. Maybe we can blow off some flares or something as a distraction
