Help Willie P. Bennett (Hamiltonians)

I was just looking at Willie P. Bennett's website and saw this notice:

Help Willie locate some missing gear...

During a visit to Hamilton Ontario last June, Willie's guitar and mandolin went missing. Says Willie, "Someone must've mistaken my gear for their own and took it." Please help Willie bring these dear old friends back home.

The Martin is a 000-28 model six-string acoustic (c.1972), with Calton moulded-fiberglass road case, cream-colored with green interior. The mandolin is an electric Flatiron in a distinctive multicolored Calton fiberglass road case, with drops and splashes of coloured paint on white, with red interior. The case had "Willie P." painted graffiti-style on top.

Says Willie, "They're just things, but I've gotten used to them."

He's offering a $1000 cash reward for the safe return of these instruments, no questions asked.

They were taken from his van in the wee hours of Tuesday June 15th, 2004. The van was parked in the vicinity of Pearl St.S. and Hunter St.W. in south-central Hamilton.

If you can help, please contact Willie directly at: williep@williepbennett.com
