I'm pretty sure it's this read... ...that has a pretty wacky version of what really went down at Altamont. In hindsight, I'm sure that hiring the Hell's Angels for security was not such a hot plan either way. Scully explains that it was the Stone's decision and that everyone else thought they were nuts. Too bad that what could've been a great show ended in such tragedy. I heard that Hunter took a shot at someone in Jefferson Airplane (they were playing at the time, if my memory is correct) or that there was an injury. Can anyone help clarify for me? Esau Posted May 30, 2005 Report Share Posted May 30, 2005 ...a Hell's Angel (forget his name) punched out Marty from J.A.P while they were on stage.Also,850 people injured,two people were killed in a hit & run,one drowned as well as the guy gettin shot. My god, Jackie got attacked by vicious Shriners at Altamont and then was interrogated by F. Lee Bailey. It's one of the best bits of satire I've ever witnessed.
