bouche
Ollie sent me this link and we're sadly laughing at the fact that this poor girl feels very embarrassed, but the NYTimes plastered her photo on the front page of their widely circulated rag. Personally, I don't see this photo to cause such a ruckuss, but I do see that the school screwed her over. Yearbook horror
StoneMtn
... and do ya think this might form the basis for yet another absurd, frivolous lawsuit out of the US?(It's crap like this that causes people to question those with legitimate grievances; and when "issues" like this actually end up in court, causes the whole legal system to fall into disrepute.)This little girl should be more embarrassed by her parents' escalation of this issue than by the photo. bouche
That's very true. Parents can really make these thing way worse by complaining. However, that teacher could have just put the ol "PHOTO NOT AVAILABLE" image in the spot. I have a year book with that for my picture.
