Dr_Evil_Mouse Posted July 20, 2005 Report Share Posted July 20, 2005 I'm basing that on some quip from Townshend, who by his own account breathed a sigh of relief in the mid-70s when he was feeling a bit tuckered out and all sorts of punk bands were filtering out of London and NY with the same sort of "grrr/fuckgoddamnit" he'd been trying to cultivate for a few years.
