guigsy Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 recent purchases for me....ryan adams - cold roses (has only left my stereo to go in the discman... i havent been this affected/moved by an album since YHF. it is absolutely brilliant, and emotionally monstrous. buy it, go straight to disc 2 and settle in for a week or so.)josh ritter - golden age of radiocrosby stills nash and young - deja vu (why i never owned this before i simply cant explain. i dont know.)joe cocker - 20th century masters (i finally felt the need to have some joe cocker in my life, and this seemed like the best bet.)... and i've had Teppid Wonderland, a 2-disc Brian Jonestown Massacre compilation on order for about 5 or 6 weeks now... part of me thinks these guys might be my new favourite band once i get my hands on this sucker... time will tell.
