new CD/DVD lightscribe technology

lightscribe seems to be the latest and greatest thing you can get out of a burner these days. You burn your disc and then you can laser etch labels and images onto the disc! How cool is that?

The best I've used (at my buddy Brendan's place) is a CD/DVD Printer,it uses special "printable" discs that you insert into the printer with a CD/DVD adapter,no stick on label and they don't come off.Well,so far anyway it appears to be pretty lasting.

Yep, I bought the Epson R200 printer yesterday which prints colour on injekt-printable CDRs. Came to $85 after mail in rebate!

Canada Computers has a BENQ CD/DVD burner with LightScribe for $110.

I got the R800, but I haven't any printable discs at the moment. Lightscribe requires special discs as well.

I had a DVD burner installed in my 'puter by Sprint and I can't find the burning software, anyone know how I would find it or is there any free DVD burning software online?
