Guest Low Roller
The puck has dropped!! The exhibition season started last night with three games. Amongst others the Oilers beat the Flames 2-1 in a shootout. In other shootout news, Brian Boucher was injured during the unneccesary shootout portion of the evening. He pulled his groin and had to be helped off the ice.Andrew Raycroft finally signed a one year deal with the Bruins. He's reportedly very excited about the high probability of shootouts in the near future. And finally, Keith Tkachuk failed his physical and was suspended by the St. Louis Blues. No shootouts were affected by this decision.
c-towns
so when you say 2-1 in a shoot-out the score of the game could be 5-5 or something? How are they gonna report this on the tickers??
dogatthestation
I believe what he means is that the the score was 1-1 after regulation and they needed a shoot-out to determine the winner. At the end of the shoot-out the team with more goals is awarded a one goal victory.
dogatthestation
Whoops, nevermind. Just read the TSN article. I hate shoot-outs (just thought I would add that for no particular reason).
Guest Low Roller
Micheal Ryder injured his ankle during practice today at the Habs training camp, and is listed day-to-day.And so continues the curse of injured Habs. Christobal Huet, prepped to be Theodore's second, was injured earlier in Europe. He'll be out for a long time.I'm too lazy to post a link right now. You know where to read the news.
