bradm
I posted about it a little while ago. I think GTB will be bringing copies to sell with them, but it's still up in the air as to whether a showing can be arranged for Mavericks in Ottawa on Nov. 12; logistics (GTB coming from the West, Greg out East) may prevent it, and there may be an opening act instead, but the possibility is being looked at.Aloha,Brad

Jay Funk Dawg
Working on having a shortened version of the film to play inconjuction with their November Toronto Date. Here's some more info: Greg Hemmings's Mock Rock-u-docu-dramatic 6 Part Mini Series about Grand Theft Bus will be screened as a feature in the 25th Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia (www.atlanticfilm.com) at 12:05 noon on Saturday Sept. 24th. This screening will take place at Park Lane Cinemas on Spring Garden. This mocumentary is jammed packed with plenty of "real" live Grand Theft Bus shows and "not so real" interviews and plot twists. Rubarbicon is the first of its kind, an original "mock-rock-docudramatic biography about the life and tragic demise of Grand Theft Bus." ...Grand Theft Bus (www.grandtheftbus.com) had everything going for them, thousands of fans, 5 records to date, a newly signed major label distribution deal, the only thing they didn't have was a DVD rock documentary…until now. Join Filmmaker Greg Hemmings as he "mock-documents" the band and his own personal process of following them. Shot in 5 different countries with live material from Evolve 2003 and 2004, Halloween 2004, New Years Eve at the gothic Aches 2003 and more.
