Jaimoe
My friend said that the DJ was really annoying. He spun mixes of Wings/Beatles tunes for 45 minutes. He said people were looking pissed, especially the ones trapped at the front. My friend also said that Paul did a lot of talking and did many waves and shout-outs throughout the night... making for an intimate evening. He also said that the second half was better than the first.Even that prick Ben Rayner in the Star liked the show.

Dr_Evil_Mouse
That's a helluva lot of songs for one night. Guess he's earning his $6.85 an hour .

TimmyB
I'll be writing a review of the Sir Paul McCartney show later today or tomorrow.I must point out now though that McCartney performed "Mull of Kintyre" in between "Please Please Me" and "Let It Be."McCartney had the Peel Regional Pipers (PRP) come out to peform "Mull of Kintyre" with McCartney and his band. There were over thirty bagpipers on stage playing the song beautifully, what a sight! In 2002 when McCartney toured he did the same thing with the PRP and it was the only time he performed "Mull of Kintyre" the entire tour. This will likely be the same unique event in 2005, which gives the Toronto show a bit of a special twist not seen at other gigs during the "US Tour."Tim
