d_rawk
I dig Tommy Guerrero, and he appeals to that stoner skater-boy youth in all of us, ta boot. Powell-Peralta, baby! My first deck was a Lance Mountain ... *wipes tear from eye*Haven't heard of either of the other two, though. Thanks for the heads up! Will check them out. can-o-phish
Hey d-rawk, Nice to see that I'm not the only reformed skater-trash on the board My first deck was a Tony Hawk and how I fuggin' loved it...with indie trucks and bones...I was all about grinding!!! Ray Barbee is another incredible boarder as you'll come to find out...
d_rawk
Nice, I had indie trucks too. And "slime ball" wheels. 'member when boards had rails before they were all glossy-shiny on their own? My second deck was a Hawk.Ahhhh ... Ray Barbee is starting to ring a bell, in this context. Jaimoe
I've got some Songs: Ohia and I'm going to get some Magnolia Electric Company. Magnolia Electric Company is a great band, in the 70's era Crazy Horse vein. For all those who rave about Ryan Adams ( and I do too ), check out Molina's music. He's just as prolific and arguably more talented. Edited November 13, 2005 by Guest
zero
I've dug on Tommy Guerrero for a while, I like his lofi layed back slouch beats. Funny that Barbee and Guerrero are both ex-skaters turned musicians, it makes sense to me that if you are virtuousic in one arena you will be in others.
