bradm
Didn't they just come back from a break?Aloha,Brad
StoneMtn
I don't think so. When were they on a break?
bradm
Hmmm...I may have been under a mistaken idea, then. I remember them doing shows here (Ottawa, and S. Ont.) in fall 2002, but not much after that until recently (last few months), and I remember hearing that they had broken up, then got back together. (It's likely I got that wrong, and it's just that they didn't do much outside of the West.)Aloha,Brad
StoneMtn
I think that is more correct. They tended to spend more time close to home. They had a somewhat regular gig at a bar in Pemberton called the Pemberton Hotel (The "Pem Ho" ), where they could be seen almost twice a week. It was a pretty funny environment for them though. Very, "rural", shall we say....
bradm
"Rural"? Are you saying there were farm animals involved? I'm just trying to imagine how they were accommodated... Aloha, Brad
StoneMtn
More like farm-folk and other people from Pemberton and the Mt. Currie Indian Band nearby. The thing is, I think those locals have seen more SNA shows than anyone. Some of them really boogie on the dance floor too.
