I knew I should have scrimped and saved to go to Madison Square Gardens again for New Years Eve this year, but I didn't. And then JIMMY PAGE plays with the BLACK CROWES! TEN YEARS GONE (no confirm that Jimmy is playing....yet) 4. WANTON SONG (Yes, it's Jimmy) 5. Seeing Thing (with horns) 6. Hard To Handle (with horns & Trey) 7. Twice As Hard 8. Remedy ENCORE 9. STREET FIGHTING MAN (no guests) And also here was the TREY ANASTASIO set: Push on 'Til The Day, Sand, Tuesday, Plasma, Mr. Completely, Night Speaks To a Woman, Last Tube, Money Love and Change, Come As Melody, First Tube Auld Lag Syne at midnight w/ Black Crowes and Treys's and Chris Robinson's family and children. Trey sang a verse of some country hymn. I can stress enough how pissed off at myself I am. TimmyB Posted January 4, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 I read further reviews on the BLACK CROWES NYE MSG gig only to find out that JIMMY PAGE did not perform with the Crowes.I initially read the Page did play with the Crowes on New Years Eve from a thread from the official Black Crowes website about the setlist being updated from people in attendance at the Gardens.Unfortunately those people were either too far awa and blind or just not too bright as Page was not there on stage when the Crowes performed two Led Zeppelin songs in the second set.I'm feeling a lot better now that I missed the gig.Tim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
