badams
Most Olympic disciplines are divided into Men's and Women's classes. Such sports as Downhill Skiing and Cross Country Skiing each have events for men and women. Alpine skiing for example has five disciplines.DownhillSuper-GGiant SlalomSlalomCombinedAll five disciplines are run by both Men and Women.Cross Country Skiing has eight events.Sprint for both M & WTeam Sprint for both M & WPursuit for both M & WRelay for both M & w10km Classical for W15km Classical for M30km Freestyle for W50 km Freestyle for MEven Biathlon with five events has them both for Men and Women. It appears to me that the events are laid out equally. However I doubt a woman could enter a mens race but i'm not 100% sure.I'm not sure what would happen if a woman wanted to compete against the men.
