Hartamophone Posted April 9, 2006 Report Share Posted April 9, 2006 So this isn't something that hinders my enjoyment of the site, but is somewhat of a curiosity:I use Safari (1.0.3 [v.85.8.1]) on a PowerBook G4. For some reason, avtars and signatures have never been displayed when I browse the site on this computer. Recently, however, they appear when I'm lurking, but as soon as I log in, they're gone again.Any thoughts, bouche (or anyone else)? I'm assuming it's just a compatibility issue. With all of the different web browsers that people are using these days, I would imagine it's tough to program a site that is 100% compatible with all of them. bouche Posted April 9, 2006 Report Share Posted April 9, 2006 check out your preferences perhaps. When you login, avatar display is a setting for your own account. If you're not logged in, the forum defaults for a guest are set to display avatars. I just logged in on my mac with Safari and everything is fine.
