Weirdness
[blurb]I was just looking to find some info on the rumours portion of philzone.com regarding the Trey/Mike/Duo/Phil deal posted earlier, found another nice nugget of info..."Rumors have been circulating for a while now that Phil & Ryan Adams have been doing some studio sessions together. [/blurb]While we don't have any details, we can confirm that they have done some collaborative work at Loho Studios in NYC as they are listed as recent clients."Fuckin' EH!!! zero
I've heard talk of this for awhile. I really have high hopes for this since as great a player and bandleader as Phil is god knows he needs some help in the songwriting department, I can think of no one better for the task. zero
The scope of Adams repertoire is ridiculous. As sweet as that Adams/Lesh collaboration is I'd love to hear that 'The Dolphins' from the Robinson show. Weirdness and I saw Richie Havens play that years ago and I didn't know the song at the time (Tim Buckley and Beth Orton both have great versions - the former being seminal to my mind) but was blown away.
