saw them at the opera house once upon a time.. one of the most energetic shows ever.

i used to love these guys, but i havent paid much attention in a long time.

are they doing anything different these days, or is it more of the same?

I have their 'Soundsystem' album from years ago and I've always had a certain respect for it. I won't be buying advanced tickets but I could imagine making a hasty decision to try and get in the day of the show. Thanks for posting.

I've been really into these guys for the last 3 years. Fell in love with the drummer's style. I've seen them 4 times in the past year and a half. If you're into them, they have a live dvd that came out last year, it's from a 3-11 show they did a couple of years ago in New Orleans. 5 hours, 64 songs. Cool version of D'yer Maker on there. Needless to say, I have tix for this next show, and very much looking forward to it, but their shows are much better in the States.

*Actually Willy, we talked about them last Labour Day weekend, you probably don't remember though.
