There's a group in New York City who call themselves "Improv Everywhere"

Why do you do this?

Improv Everywhere is, at its core, about having fun. We're big believers in "organized fun". In the process we bring excitement to otherwise unexciting locales and give strangers a story they can tell for the rest of their lives. We're out to prove that a prank doesn't have to involve humiliation or embarrassment; it can simply be about making someone smile.

For their most recent prank, about 80 of their members went into a Best Buy store, dressed very similarly to how BB employees dress.

As much as it is to read about how the prank went down, it's also interesting to read about how they prepared, what their members did and didn't do, and how they behaved in the store. The bit about the manager saying it's "illegal" to film in the store, and the cop's correcting of the manager's misbelief, is fun on its own.

you know it amazes me how silly the store reacted to that.

it just seems that they overreact so much. haha and the cops too...

I didn;t know wearing the same clothes was against the law.

I haven't watched the video but it sounds to me like this travelling outfit could very well slightly change their name to read "Improve Everywhere."
