Music on my computer problem.....

I have a problem...well I probably have many, but I'll look for one solution at a time. So here goes.

I have a CD that works perfectly fine when I play it in my CD player, but when I try to play it on my computer, there are two tracks that won't play. They seem to keep starting and stopping at the exact same place each time.

If it was a CD problem, I wouldn't expect it to work at all and I'm sure if I took it back, the store would just do the same as I did and pop it in their CD player and find it works fine.

But it's the only CD, as far as i know, that seems to have this problem when I use my computer, so I wouldn't expect it to be a software/hardware problem and that's my problem. Any thoughts.

Have you tried to rip it using iTunes or some other software?

One of my other problems is that I'm a technological idiot, so I don't know what that means and i don't have iTunes, but this is a brand new CD, so why would I have to, as you say, "rip" it?
