StoneMtn Posted April 1, 2007 Report Share Posted April 1, 2007 I just looked at who is online, and there have been dozens of anonymous, non-logged-in, users looking at User Profiles in the last 15 minutes or so.There is/are definitely a bot or bots checking out this site and scouring it for information about users.Lame. bouche Posted April 1, 2007 Report Share Posted April 1, 2007 the damn bots overloaded the mysql database connection pool today. they aren't here to index info on users, they index articles, posts, images on the site which is technically a good thing, but they can be a nuisance. you'll find that it's basically google, yahoo, and microsoft bots and they do this all the time on the net. that's why you can type in moe.down in google and get lara's jambands.ca review in the second hit btw, thanks again Lara!
