bouche
Received this in the mail. I and many others would highly recommend checking these guys out.--------------------------------------------------------I really want to tell you all that my band The Creaking Tree String Quartet has a new album called The Soundtrack, that came out today. For those in Toronto, we're celebrating the release at Hugh's Room (on Roncesvalles, south of Bloor) this Friday night at 8:30 with a great night of music. Greg Hobbs will play a short set at 8:30, and then we'll do two sets starting around 9:00.Tickets are $16 in advance, $18 at the door, and they take dinner reservations. For those in other parts of Ontario, we're doing release parties in the coming weeks in Ottawa, Port Hope, London, Hamilton, Kingston, Peterborough and Guelph, check our website for the dates. For those further away, and anyone interested, you can hear some of the music on our MySpace page. Check it out, we're really proud of this one. Already it has been nominated for 3 Canadian Folk Music Awards: Best Instrumentalist Group, Best Ensemble, and Pushing the Boundaries.www.myspace.com/creakingtreewww.creakingtree.com

DevO
It would be awesome to see these guys at The Montreal House in Ptbo! I don't see the Hamilton date on their MySpace. Can't make the Toronto date (Ween night). I hope they go back to doing the weekly at the Cadillac.
