Dr_Evil_Mouse
Anybody been to this on Wednesday nights? I hear it's good; I'm heading up presently to check it out, if anyone wants to come along. (1205 Wellington, near the Royal Oak in Westboro, so I hear)
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Ok, let me answer my own post, then - wow, what a great scene! I think I'm going to make a habit of this. Anyone who's wanted a low-pressure place to play and have fun should check this out.

Dr_Evil_Mouse
( hee hee - nice new avatar) You'd have loved it. They also do Sunday afternoon jams that have a great reputation; I'm thinking about dragging the family in this weekend.
bradm
Is it singer/songwriter acoustic stuff? Does it include any jamming opportunities?Aloha,Brad
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Both. It's very open, meaning that you can invite anyone up if you'd like (or it might happen regardless). It certain doesn't come across as a "showcase" kind of open-stage; people are there to play. The crowd crosses over very conspicuously with the Saturday afternoon Irene's crowd.
