AdamH Posted September 17, 2003 Report Share Posted September 17, 2003 Well, I've only been here for a few months and despite the sheer number of bars, you'll have a harder time finding a good one. In terms of room atmosphere I like Vineyards. It's not your typical place, they've got a ridiculous selection fo wines and beers from all over the world (a book of beer) and it's an older crowd. There's no music, but it's in a basement and if you've got money to blow it's nice to try their different wine and port samplers and stuff. Let's see, the brig is garbage, minglewood's is garbage...The Royal Oak is ok but nothing to write home about. Basically, Ottawa needs a Jimmy Jazz or an Albion is all I'm saying.
