Kitari Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Haven't seen a roll call yet so I thought I'd shout one out! I'll be there for sure - need to see more of Ms. Hux's beautiful curly locks!
bradm Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 I'll be there, largely to watch Kitari watch Ms. H's beautiful curly locks... And, of course, to see if what is essentially an electrified BGH is succeptible to the same predilictions as the acoustic BGH. Aloha, Brad
Guest Low Roller Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 I'll be there making sure that Bradm does nothing more than just watch Kitari watch Ms. H's beautiful curly locks... sicko.
Kitari Posted February 6, 2003 Author Report Posted February 6, 2003 Geez, who would've thought that a little "Kit loves She" action would get so much attention!! You'd think you guys had a thing for lesbians or something?!

Ric Pilot Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Ms. Hux's beautiful curly locks! Did I miss something?
Kitari Posted February 6, 2003 Author Report Posted February 6, 2003 We had a big "girly night" last night with a bunch of friends! Along with the traditional tickle-panty-fights, Ms Hux had her hair braided by Dana. After she unwound them today, her hair tumbled down in these beautiful curly locks ! She looks FABULOUS!
Sunshine Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 She always looks Fabulous! Wish I could be there to party tonight! Have fun guys and gals!
bruckstar Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 I'll be out tonight, I was hoping to do the rest of Dr. Hux's hair!!! How about it? Imagine if they all got curls...what a show that would be!!!
Kitari Posted February 6, 2003 Author Report Posted February 6, 2003 Ha! Like Dr. Hux would ever let anyone near his precious hair (well, besides Sunshine, that is)!

Imagine if they all got curls...what a show that would be!!! I'm thinking of more like a Bride of Frankenstein or Don King thing, you know, all frizzed out and sticking out all over the place, as if he got a sudden electric shock, maybe from a short on stage while he was performing. But, of course, to set out deliberately to make that happen would require extensive knowledge of the stage setup and wiring, and a convenient time when you knew he was going to be performing... Aloha, Brad
Ms.Huxtable Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 That's it!!! You're getting a lickin' tonight Kitari!!! I feel like an object sometimes. Everyones hot rockstar play toy. Hold me Bouchey.

Kitari Posted February 6, 2003 Author Report Posted February 6, 2003 You're right Ms. Hux, I've been very naughty...I should be punished severely. I'll start with forcing myself to swallow alcohol and move on to a punishing night of dancing. That should heal my wounds!
arcane Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 Just ... just ... get a ROOM, already! More guys for the rest of us ...
bradm Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 Oh, man it was fun. The Skanks were supposed to be the "intermission" band, but by showtime, things were a little unknown. The bassist, drummer, and keyboard player from Jambolaya got up and did some jazzy stuff for a little while, then the guitar player got up and things really took off. After a usual first-set length, they started in on "Franklin's Tower", and the next thing we know, we've got a full-on set blender on our hands. Well, sort of...dave-O hadn't arrived by the time Jambolaya had left the stage, so Dr. Hux (bass), bouche (guitar), and Van Whelan (drums) worked out as a trio. dave-O eventually arrived, got set up, and took it to a whole other level. I was getting a New Deal-ish vibe, but a little looser and funkier. They did "New Minglewood Blues", "Wolfman's Brother", and a serious tease/take on "Street Sleeper" (with a bit of "Long Train Running" thrown in for good measure). They were ripping it up. Then Jambolaya started coming back on, and the fun went up to another new level. ISTR a get-everybody-back-onstage "Shakedown Street" later in the evening. Words fail me at this point; you had to be there... Aloha, Brad
greasemonkey Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 I see a trend starting Kitari...keep up the good work
greasemonkey Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 I hope your night was as good as mine Dr. Hux!!! What's on the menu for tonight?
Hux Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Babyon tonight! Why was your night so good..?
greasemonkey Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 What's going on there??oh, and ah, NOYB!
Hux Posted February 8, 2003 Report Posted February 8, 2003 Erin Smith Band ++ ...I'm heading home, gimme a ring if you're game.
Kitari Posted February 8, 2003 Author Report Posted February 8, 2003 Personally - I loved that Dave-O had the good sense to stop at the bar and grab a beer before joining the Skanks on stage! A true rock star! I had a great time all! Thanks a bunch for the great tunes, another opportunity to heckle the bands and the chance to find a new favourite drink - anyone visiting Dekcuf should try the Twisted Rickey!! Loved my first and second and third (??) round!!
