Del
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! We caught it Saturday afternoon in Buffalo before heading down to see the nero show in Rochester. Absolutely amazing, hilarious and ULTRA-violent. Quentin Tarantino has totally rebounded from Jackie Brown (his worst movie, in my opinion). Uma Thurman kicks a ton of ass in this movie as well. Absolutely brilliant... I will definately see this again. Kick ass trailers for The Matrix: Revolutions, Lord of the Rings Pt. 3, Scary Movie 3, and a new Ben Stiller flick called Along Came Polly. Kill Bill kicks ass... can't wait for Vol. 2.
CyberHippie
I thought it was pretty good. Too gorey for me, the bloodshed was insane. I didn't like it as much as his other movies though, it was much more of an action kung fu type movie, as opposed to dialog driven like his other movies. Still really good though. dogatthestation
Saw this movie last night and was blown away. Absolutely incredible. The violence did not bother me because it was so over the top and done without pretention (a la "Natural Born Killers"). The imagery and style are absolutely brilliant imo. If you enjoy just pure film making than I think you will enjoy this movie. P.S. "Jackie Brown" is such an under-rated film. See it again for the first time. NewRider
I thought it needed a little more sword action and it didn't have enough blood!!! Crazy fuckin' movie!!!
Rob Not Bob
Fun fact : the sinister yet catchy tune that the eyepatched Darryl Hannah is whistling as she walks down the hospital coridor on her way to try to kill Uma Thurman is taken from a Swedish Porno/Art/Exploitation film called They Call Her One Eye ... the world of Swedish porn soundtracks also gave us the Sesame Street classic "Muh-nah Muh-nah". Isn't your enjoyment of the movie now drastically improved by knowing this? RnB
