bouche
ms.hux and I picked up a spiral slicer after finally figuring out how those super fine strands of vegetables are made. We were at a food event at Urban Element and Chef Scott Adams told us how they're made using an imported device called a turning slicer. Basically, it allows you to make killer garnish, but more practically, you can eat raw foods much easier thanks to the superfine strands created. Highly recommended. We picked it up in Toronto chinatown, but you can find at least one of them at Man Phong on somerset ($85 ish).
