backbacon
Thought maybe someone would like to download some hookah. I wouldn't mind a copy of this when someone's got it. (I can't download...) ============ From the dubba list: First let me say thanks to ekoostik hookah and API for bringing us such great music, great times, and allowing this recording to be put into circulation. Another thanks needs to go to Dubba for all his hard work and effort with recording and archiving the music. Without all of these kind people none of this would be possible. Now for those of you with high speed internet here is you link to the show. http://65.106.34.77/eh2003-10-18.sbd.shn.torrent Show info: ekoostik hookah October 18, 2003 Frontier Ranch Kirkersville, OH Taped & transferred by Gregory J. Frahn Source: SBD-> Tascam DA-P1 Transfer: Tascam DA-30mkII-> AES/EBU bus-> RME Intelligent Digi 96/8 PAD-> Cool Edit Pro-> CDRWin-> Plextor 12/10/32S SCSI-> CD Caveat Emptor: As is normal with all SBD recordings, there are a few adjustments being made during first six or seven minutes, while the soundman is twisting knobs, fine tuning the sound and getting all the adjustments right. For this recording, the kick drum is slightly "crunchy" in a few spots during this time. The vocals and keyboards are slightly hot, but eventually calm down within the first 7 minutes as well. By d1t3 everything seems to be right on. That's about it. Enjoy! Disc 1 (Set 1): 01. The Risk+ 02. A Better Man+ 03. Fantastic 04. Get Rhythm 05. Find Out* 06. Do you mean so that it can be played as audio? If so,then use this for decompressing the file from SHN to WAV. mkwACT Not 100% on what exactly what you mean. Hank Reardon
I downloaded a file called eh2003-10-18.sbd.shn.torrent. But now I'm not sure what to do with that? From what I've read on the net, I need to install some sort of software to be able to download the music initiated by running this file? Am I correct? Thanks for the help btw. Esau
Right, now I got ya. You need to download a bit torrent program to be able to download the show. Bit Torrent Just scroll down to the download section and download bit torrent 3.3. Or you can try this bit torrent client, which I hear is also very good. Also may be more detailed info on how it all works. BT degreez I hope this helps.I'll try to assist if anything comes up,but I may be crashing soon. Bit torrent seems a little tricky at first but once ya get the hang of it,its very easy.
