hamilton Posted May 26, 2010 Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 I saw Phish there in '95. The venue itself is beautiful. Not as big as a lot of the typical summer venues either, if I recall correctly. At the time, security in the lot was a bit tight (busting t-shirt sellers and the odd toker), but I don't know if that is the norm or not. Anyway... have fun! The Chameleon Posted May 26, 2010 Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 I was at the Blossom center to see the Further Festival in 1996.Great spot with lots of trees and lots of nice parking/vending area.There are a lot of state parks around but you are not aloud to camop overnight and you will be rousted by state troopers.Looking forward to the show see you there. I thought it was a really nice place when we were there in '95 for that upstart band called Phish. edit ... oops, im confusing finger lakes with blossom. yeah, blosson is nice too. we saw them a couple of times at blossom, once having to high tail it back in 2000 to teach a stats class the next day.
