bradm
I was perusing upcoming jazz releases, and noticed a new Lenny Breau album coming out. It's his first (and until now, unreleased) recordings, from 1961, and the personnel is: - Lenny Breau, guitar - Rick Danko, acoustic bass - Levon Helm, drums (Not all of the songs have that lineup: six tracks are solo guitar, seven are trio.) The track list seems to have a good number of standards (e.g., "I'll Remember April"), some newer jazz songs (e.g., "Solea", which I assume is the same song as on Miles Davis' "Sketches Of Spain"), and some originals (e.g., "Lenny's Western Blues"). This one is definitely going on the Christmas List... Aloha, Brad
