Guest Low Roller Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 I recently discovered Soundcloud. It's an amalgam of sorts between YouTube, MySpace, and online audio players. Soundcloud is primarily promoted as a tool for getting artists to exchange their music online, get discovered by established labels, and post whatever they want really. It currently is not censored for copyright content (but it probably won't be long), but in essence the majority of the music on Soundcloud is original material. Easily embeddable players help distribute the material on forums and other online mediums. There is a Facebook app where you can post songs to your profile, thus creating a MySpace type environment on Facebook.Four Tet has a channel on Soundcloud, where he posts all sorts of mixes and live shows.
