NewRider
I was given an old video 30gb ipod the other week. It worked fine when I plugged it into my laptop but now itunes won't recognize it. I've tried restarting the laptop, restarting the ipod, using a different usb port. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas what's wrong with it?

Guest Low Roller
I use MediaMonkey for managing my iPod. I've only used iTunes to rebuild the iPod OS and then deleted it from my computer.

Guest Low Roller
Here is my iPod question:Some tracks that I have on my iPod just won't play. The iPod sees them, and I can select them, but then when I press play it just doesn't go. It's not like it freezes because I can easily move around and navigate out. I have to delete them off of my iPod and put them back on. Any ideas?
d_rawk
Just to be clear - when you "delete them off of my iPod and put them back on", they become playable (again)?
Guest Low Roller
Yes. I basically delete them from my iPod, and upload them again from my music database.
