Jay Funk Dawg Posted August 5, 2011 Report Share Posted August 5, 2011 RIP Big John (1964-2011) Reggae Musician Big John passed away this past week in Nelson, BC. He found out recently that he was in the 4th stages of Cancer and passed earlier this week. The music community in Nelson, BC has been pretty sad about John's passing and we're putting together a compilation album of his life's work. He was the original drummer for acts such as Selassie I Power, House of David Gang and Gisto's (of Wassabi Collective) Solo album.
