Very Crazy Horse, and probably Neil Young's best effort in quite some time. However the album does have a few cringe-worthy lyrical moments, especially in the long jams where Neil Young just seems to be free-styling some random words because he needs to fill in some space. Northern Wish Posted November 13, 2012 Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 I have only listened to it once, and found the same things you did: great music in need of an editor at times.That said the songs played live were amazing, and some of those cringe worthy lyrics were removed as he played shortened versions of a couple of tunes- the title track in particular.
