Esau.
Another great loss to music. I grew up hearing his music at home, in the truck and at our cottage regularly. I wasn't really much of fan growing up, but as years went on and my musical tastes and curiosities expanded and matured I began to appreciate a lot of his music, and when I do hear it it always reminds me of my Father. Thanks George. May you rest in eternal peace.

bradm
Tuesday night at Irenes, we are going to have a proper tribute to Ol' Possum. All George Jones, all night! Matthew Chaffey, Curtis Chaffey, Dan Grewal, Matt Matt Aston, John Steele and yours truly. We are going to tip our hats to a man who forever changed the face of country music. I'll be making an obscenely annoying amount of posts before Tuesday. Come hear your favourite George!http://irenespub.caAloha,Brad
