Don't know if this has been posted yet, but:

I think it does matter with some words. How about words like:

poiedvrd

depsilyad

cezmsiotus

scrutnaay

These are just words I found by looking around my desktop. I think that the first and last letter has to be in the same place and the letters have to be inteligently mixed up. And short words are obviously easier.

I am sure the words I used above are not too hard to unscramble but almost certainly take longer than it would to simply read them.

ANSWER:
