keither
Fight of the year... mmmmmmmmmmmm-hmmmmmmmmmmmm. You know it's been a weak year for tilts when that fight gets votes for best scrap of the year! Does anyone remember McSorley (with Pittsburgh @ the time) vs. Probert (Detroit)? It went through 5 minutes of back-and-forth, all-over-the-rink beatings before Marty went down behind the net, Bob helped him up without throwing... and they went at it for another couple of minutes before lightly butting heads and conceding that it was a good'un? Nostalgic, I know... but MAN we gotta get rid of the instigator rule!!!
ollie
I like this line, from the game recap on the Binghamton Sens web site: quote:The Sens made it 2-0 on a heady play by McGrattan as he took a David Hymovitz lead pass just after stepping out of the penalty box and raced in on the left wing. http://www.binghamtonsenators.com/recap.asp?Id=
