c-towns
When opening folders in windows, it leaves a trail of all the folders I've opened, filling up the bar on the bottom of my screen, the other computers at work don't seem to do this, is there a way I can stop this from happening? Thanks in Advance jamesd.
bradm
I think if you open up the folder while holding the "Ctrl" key, it doesn't leave the previous folder on the desktop. (Also, I think you can control this behaviour: check the options list for the window that comes up when you open "My Computer".) HTH, Brad
ollie
- open My Computer - select Folder Options... from the Tools menu - on the General tab, click "Open each folder in the same window" - on the View tab, click "Like Current Folder" et voila!
