ggrtrhhrtgg Posted February 3, 2004 Report Share Posted February 3, 2004 I predict a short winter... reason being.... it was quite warm right up until the beginning of January, so the ground temperature was higher than normal, so my hypothesis is as follows... warm december translates into shorter winter, since the ground temperature is warmer, and water temperature is above normal, the green house affect takes place where it takes less time to warm the water and land to a warmer temperature... ex.. last year, it was very cold in late november and december, thus we had a prolonged winter... anyways, it is just a theory.... and I am optomistic that I will be in shorts for my birthday, 4 17... hehe.. DevO Posted February 3, 2004 Report Share Posted February 3, 2004 I'm hoping for a few more feet of snow before it starts warming up.. Man, the winter is awesome!! Enjoy it! Just put on a lot of clothes when you go outside and you'll be just fine. THen you can take great pleasure in breathing in the crisp air and diving through the snow banks.
