Eight members of this brass & percussion band are sons of the late great jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran, formerly of Sun Ra Arkestra and a founder of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians. The members have been immersed in this culture and playing together their entire lives; combining the AACM's collective approach with a contemporary hip-hop vibe that speaks to its own generation, resulting in one of the most compelling live music experiences of our time.
