    The Slip?

I just want to say that the Barrymore's show is going to be better than any of the others.
  3. I think the problem is that you just don't know who you're dealing with. One guy may just be an alcoholic that's looking to get drunk, another guy maybe dangerous. Ms Hux was being nice to a homeless guy near Steve's Music one day about a year ago and eventually a cop came by had the guy move on and told her to stay away from him. He's got a violent history. Then you got the young street kids who again have their own completely differnet stories. Which one's want the money for food? which one's for crack? which one's for booze? which one is going to rob you? So, which one do you pick to be kind to? Can you say to the next guy on the street "Sorry, I already gave to the guy back there."
  4. The Beatles recordings that George Martin and his son have remixed for the Cirque de Soleil is released on CD and a 5.1 mix on DVD. Does anyone have this? The 5.1 mix is very interesting to me. check out the interview with George and Son
  5. Has anyone here wondered what it would take to become homeless? I thought alot about it when I was unemployed and getting deeper and deeper in debt since my bills far outweighed what I was getting the UI. I don't think you have to be a crackhead, but if you don't do anything responsible with your money, your career, your skills, you could easily become homeless in only a few years. I'm sure then you start losing your mind and start doing crack. Homeless doesn't mean living on the streets. Couchsurfing is considered homeless, isn't it?
  6. ms.hux and I went to hearing clinic at the Civic and had a hearing test a couple of years back. We asked for plugs because we were playing weekly in a small living room and it was loud. They referred us to the first floor, and I forget the name of the provider, but they explained the process. They take a cast of your ear and then have plugs manufactured. The beauty is that they are great for concerts too. You don't lose any resolution of the music, as the plugs just reduce the volume. I think a pair came to about $180.
  7. Dinghy, I don't think the homeless have the internet in order to follow your links.
